Funding for Fiestas

I was so amused to see that a local town had asked a local bank to fund 900,000 euros for fiestas. Boy oh boy, and if this wasn't enough they lent it on a zero balance. I remember going to Banks in the UK asking for money and to present this scenario to them never entered my mind. Maybe this is where I went wrong!!! Anyway the bottom line is the similarity to the musicians playing away on the sinking Titanic. It's bazar things like this that make me wonder who is in the real world.

Scam 932 555 500

I got a phone call from this number saying they were Solicitors. It was in Spanish, and she said that I owed money from the year 2004. The amount was 47 euros and that she had been instructed to collect it from a cable TV company. Fortunately we moved in 2002 and never had cable TV, so I knew it was not possible. However she had the name and the house address so it initially sounded plausible. Looking on the internet I see other similar scams with 932 numbers - Beware - Chris

I want to build an extension

I have a det Villa in Calpe. Want to extend my livingroom out on to my balcony. Do I need consent, or just get a builder in to do it ? Or have been told need an Architect. Any advise please.
