France and Spain are still the two most popular overseas property destinations by far, and this isn’t likely to change within the next year. We also expect Portugal and Italy to continue doing well, not just because Brits are familiar with these destinations, but also because as people become even more environmentally aware and wish to reduce their carbon footprint, these ‘close to home’ countries could very easily benefit from the fact that you do not necessarily have to board a plane to get there.
